For applications needing a thin, streamlined test prod. A variable electrode length prod permits testing on electronic components (small outline transistors, TO-92, etc.), where it is impossible to make a connection to the device with a probe that has anti-shock collars. In addition to its thin body design, the probe tip may be extended up to 2.5". The stainless steel probe is Teflon® insulated except for the working end to prevent unwanted contact with other components that may be in the way. Banana Plug: Feature nickel-silver traditional four-leaf spring to mate with 0.16" (4 mm) diameter jack. Hook-Up Wire: #18 AWG (65/36) tinned copper wire with 90°C PVC insulation, 48" long. Overall length is approximately 55". Available in black and red. Product is stocked in 48".
