Type RGC1S Integrated Current Monitoring and Heatsink, 1-Phase
The RGC1S has been designed with the ability to detect various failure modes occurring to the heaters and also to the product itself. These include partial load failure, heater loss, open circuit SSR, short circuit SSR and SSR over temperature. A normally closed, potential free alarm, opens in the event of a system or power semiconductor fault. A load current set-point has to be “TEACHed" to the SSR either locally by using the TEACH button on the front of the device or remotely by using the provided terminal.
